Principals
Gary M. Cole – Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Cole is the founder of Antares and is a Managing Director of the firm. He has over almost fourty years of experience in all areas of mergers and acquisitions including buyer representation, exclusive sales and divestitures, leveraged buy-outs, consortium bids and financial buyer representation.
Prior to founding Antares, Mr. Cole was a Managing Director and a Member of the Management Committee of Peers & Co., an international investment banking boutique. Prior to that, Mr. Cole worked at BNP Paribas, Merrill Lynch & Co., Becker Paribas Incorporated and E.F. Hutton & Company, Inc.
Mr. Cole is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin School of Business as well as a graduate of the University of Denver Law Center. Mr. Cole is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the French-American Foundation in New York, a member of the Board of Directors of the French-American Foundation in Paris and a member of the Board of Advisors of the Wisconsin School of Business. He is also a member of the Cercle de l’Union Interalliée in Paris.
Eric L. Rocheteau – Managing Director
Mr. Rocheteau joined Antares in 2006. He is an international corporate finance professional with thirty-five years experience on acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising, initial public offerings and strategic development, particularly on cross-border transactions, including the United States, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, South Africa and Japan.
Prior to joining Antares, Mr. Rocheteau was a Director of Cazenove from 2001-2006 as Head of M&A for France based in Paris, and from 1989-2001 as Head of US Corporate Finance based in New York. He also worked at Den norskeBank and BNP Paribas.
Mr. Rocheteau earned an MBA at The Stern School of Business of New York University and is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University with a BA in International Relations.

Maurice Pinault – Senior Advisor

Mr. Pinault joined Antares in September of 2018 as a Senior Advisor based in the Paris Office.
Prior to Antares, Mr. Pinault spent nearly 40 years with Zodiac Aerospace and its predecessor, Zodiac Group. He left the Group in July of 2018 following the full takeover by Safran. During his tenure, most recently as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, he saw the Group grow from a small boat maker into a $5 billion revenue aerospace equipment manufacturer with over 36,000 employees. This was achieved through acquisitions, divestures (notably the core marine and leisure businesses) and organic business development. He held various positions, including CEO of most of the operating branches, oversaw over 25 M&A deals and was the only Zodiac Aerospace Management Board Member participating in the entire end to end acquisition process by Safran.
Mr. Pinault graduated from the Ecole Centrale Paris and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Pinault is also a Senior Advisor to CEO2CEO, a Paris-based consulting company, and is a member of its Board of Directors.
